Hacking ps3 4.21 ofw

hey there im really sorry if this has been asked but im not wearing my glasses and can hardly read the topics or post but is there a way to downgrade a ps3 at the most recent firmware I've checked before and all the other post were from last year or so, any info would be highly appreciated.

Not unless you have a progskeet flasher,If you have a flasher than yes

You can also use an E3 flasher as well, but both require you to open the console.

What the two said above, but there is a catch your console needs to of been on 3.55 at some point or another for it to work

thanks for the quick reply guys yes i have been on cfw before but my brother updated. witch would be the cheaper alternative

e3 flasher is the most common, so you're likely to receive the most support using that, cant really say which is cheaper but you should be able to figure that out for yourself with a little research

EDIT: Got bored done the research for you, E3 looks to be a little more expensive but it allows you to dual boot you PS3 so one minute you can play online on 4.21 official firmware the next flip a switch and you can play 3.55 Custom Firmware. Sounds more ideal cause its the best of both words, but you'll have to pay a little more for the privilege

hey there recently ive been on youtube and came across alot of 4.21 cfw and some downgraders do any work?

there's no 4.21 cfw. the only way to downgrade is with progskeet or e3 flasher.

Also check to see whether your PS3 is a a NAND or NOR chip because that matters with what flasher you use or what you have to do.
