PS2 TV cables (Red Yellow White) on PS3

Hey, I got a ''fat'' ps2, and my cousin want to lend me his PS3 so I can play GTA 4.
But he only own an HDMI cable and none of my TV suport HD, so does ps2 fat TV cables works? Or ps2 slim?
I really need to know it.

Yeah. BTW, should of put this in the PS3 hardware. Take note, you WILL have to reset the settings to get a picture to appear on your kind of TV. Its easy though.

While the PS3 is on standby (Red led), you hold the power button for roughly 5 seconds, or until you count 2 beeps. The 1st beep included. Thats all.
