A friend of mine says theres an emulator that allows wii owners to play their PS2 games (and roms) on the wii o_o.

Is this true?

it has to be fake.

short answer - no.

from what i've heard you need about 10x proccessing power for good emulation, which wii definitely doesn't have.

also backups of disks are "ISOs" rather than "ROMS" (cartridges)

just for future reference, no big deal.

The wii probably would be able to emulate the PS2. The graphics would have a lot of glitches and it will be very slow. If the PC doesn't emulate a system none of the consoles will be able to do either.

LOL, good way to put it Westside.

dude, your friends totally having you on

Of course it's not true!
Everyone knows the Wii is only capable of playing XBOX 360 ROMZORZ and SEGA Dreamcast GD-ROMZ ISOholios.
Even then you need to enable the top secret special sauce debugger mode.

Wii can actually play PS4 games, and that's no typo. It's pretty much the best system ever made.

My friend's tell a load of crap like this all the time, so don't give him too hard a time. But when you get back to school young man, you better beat his ass hard for being a n00b understood? But seriously, my friend said that you can play ISO's, downloaded for free through the PSP's web browser and play them on 3.11. Full games he says, not demos. I know, I know, its funny.

Simple rule,

When you see yourself asking something that starts with "my friend told me", assume that the thing you are asking is fake, especially if it sounds fishy.
