My PS2 won't turn on sometimes! There is a problem with the connection of the AC cord, when you plug it in to the back of the PS2, you have to push it down into a certain position for it to get power. Sometimes this doesn't work... and I've already tried buying a new cord.

Anyone have a way to fix this or is my PS2 hooped?

I just took out my PS2 slim today to play Gran Turismo 4 and have the same problem [IMG] . Is there any solution to it?

    I know D:

I think the yellow thing (which you plug the cord into) inside the actual console is the problem as it is the thing that moves when you reposition the cord.

Yes, it probably is cause I tried a different AC cord and still had the problem
