Hardware ps vita with no sound

I have a ps vita that been laying for a week in the drawer, today i pick it up to play and notice sound is not working on the console.
bluetooth and aux sound works perfekt, anyone that had same problem or know anything?

Start to work after i left it in drawer for 1,5 years.
Maby battery needed to drain?
Hope I can help someone if they have same problem

Do you have any plugins installed? I know there are volume tweaks out there. What firmware are you on? Kind of sounds like a moisture issue, though.

If you try the following and it's not working then I think your speaker may have been fried.

1. Power off your psvita.
2. Hold L then power on your vita. Continue to hold L until you're all the way to the locked screen then release L.
3. Turn your volume all the way up.
4. If sound:
a. is on then it means there is a plugin that disables your sound.
b. not on; most likely the speaker may be bad.​
