You can't pick colour. I guess when ordering, write in th notes requesting a specific colour.
You have to use the included software, but you can use fraps or camtasia to record. For editing you can use anything.

As for HDMI, it's not included, and USB to HDMI isn't really possible.

That's not what I meant. I meant connecting to PC, then the PC is either connected to the 40 inch or bigger screen directly, or bypassing by using such device such as a receiver. I basically want to see how a Vita game looks like on a big digital tv.

It's possible, but you still need a Windows PC hooked on your TV.

Only PSP has TV out, and it is not digital (analog - component).

OK....let me try to explain

I know the resolution doesn't change, that's a given
I know you need to use their special application on a Windows OS to even show a video.
But a PC can connect to a monitor or a tv screen with HDMI, at least, most computers now a days.
I just want to see how good/bad a Vita game looks when it's being displayed on a big screen....if that doesn't make sense, I don't know what will.

also, how much of a lag does the USB transmission have...I know there has to be some (even if it's in milliseconds). Asking because it'll matter with some music games.
