Hardware ps vita 2000 touchpad ribbon pulled off

hi all,

i accidentally ripped off the touch pad ribbon and was wondering how it was attached. it wasnt soldered and was basically glued down, how does this work and is there anyway to fix it back?

its very difficult to source a replacement and also an expensive affair, so i would like to try and fix this.
