Got a PS Classic for cheap on Amazon deal, already have a PS Vita but will probably sell and use this.

I want to order bits needed so can someone help please.

I want the 8bitdo so I can use DS4, is it the grey one only that I can use?

I know you need a USB to intially flash it, it says to leave backup on there after, so do you then use the same USB for the other games?

BleemSync is v1.1 now and is it correct don't need a OTG cable, and can use any USB drive? For the extra games does it plug in the controller port 2 so you can't have 2 player games?

Think process is USB in cont port 2 to flash, copy backup. Then do you use same USB with games on after?

Do you just copy games as straight to USB and it loads them?

Thanks

You don't even need to flash it if you use AutoBleem. BleemSync will flash it for different (better?) kernel and OTG support.

Sorry new to PS Classic, never heard of autobleem. I'll have a look. Which is best?

Think I'll order grey 8bitdo dongle for DS4 still? Does this work with AutoBleem on case?

Any chance to play smoothly 720p/x265 files on PSC? I tried AutoBleem 0.7 and RetroBoot for AB 0.9 (km_ffmpeg). Playback is choppy.

How do I start autobleem if I'm using USB hub? seems like when i connect usbstick over usb hub that autobleem wont start

PS Classic's usb controller ports are "sensitive" to amount of power used by devices (usb hub, controller, and especially the usb flash drive). If they use too much power altogether then autobleem will never start (due to flash drive not loading). It's a plug n pray, guess n check, try different parts until you get some working combination kind of deal... or find what is working for others and buy that.

I have found that flashing the bleemsync OTG kernel and using an otg cable to work better with my flash drive (loading autobleem over otg). Games ran without choppy cut scenes and everything loaded much faster over otg.

I found that best solution is to plug USB to port 2 and after booting the console, plug the controllers with usb hub in port 1. It works without a problem
