Don't be lazy, use the search button - this has been asked, answered many, many times already. Can someone list the pros and cons of homebrewing on switch? thanks
I already tried, nothing came up that helped, just pros and cons of different emulatorsDon't be lazy, use the search button - this has been asked, answered many, many times already.
Ok, question, I have 1 switch, and just got it April 21st. Should I homebrew it?Pros: Homebrew, free gamez.
Cons: Being online might ("will")get you banned
If you don't care about online, hack it, if you do, don't hack it because you WILL get bannedOk, question, I have 1 switch, and just got it April 21st. Should I homebrew it?
Is there a way to never ever get banned no matter what? or with this early of homebrewing is there always a chance you will get banned even if you take all the proper security measures? If you don't care about online, hack it, if you do, don't hack it because you WILL get banned
well, it might not be hackable yet.Ok, question, I have 1 switch, and just got it April 21st. Should I homebrew it?
There is no way to avoid ban (maybe there is, but not shared to everyone) so keep that on mind, if you hack it you will get bannedIs there a way to never ever get banned no matter what? or with this early of homebrewing is there always a chance you will get banned even if you take all the proper security measures?
I checked serial code, it is "definitely not patched"well, it might not be hackable yet.
Make a backup before doing anything and stay offline. There is no way to avoid ban (maybe there is, but not shared to everyone) so keep that on mind, if you hack it you will get banned
how do i do that? and can it repair me from ANYTHING? including brickingMake a backup before doing anything and stay offline.
It can work, but remember when he gets online he'll be flagged, so the risk is in thereMake a backup before doing anything and stay offline.
Nope, if he makes a backup before doing anything and restores it once he stops hacking. It can work, but remember when he gets online he'll be flagged, so the risk is in there
I see, but there are ''traces'' of homebrew isn't it? besides doing that process is also tediousNope, if he makes a backup before doing anything and restores it once he stops hacking.
Also, if he never sent any error logs to Ninty, he can then later rebuild his NAND from scratch and that would be also safe.
Cool, you have a 1.0.0 switch, what does it feel to be a god?Nope, if he makes a backup before doing anything and restores it once he stops hacking.

Getting banned is not that bad, the only thing they ban is online access to games, friend list and Eshop, you can have all the games you want, also emulators, i have one hacked and a normal oneMy issue is I dont want to get banned and not have a switch, because I can't get another one.
There can't be any traces if you restore a clean backup. Same goes for rebuild the whole NAND.I see, but there are ''traces'' of homebrew isn't it? besides doing that process is also tedious

Considering that I also have to pay for online... No, thank you. I don't really care about bans (for now at least, that's why I have a second switch).Getting banned is not that bad, the only thing they ban is online access to games, friend list and Eshop, you can have all the games you want, also emulators, i have one hacked and a normal one
but what about bricked?Getting banned is not that bad, the only thing they ban is online access to games, friend list and Eshop, you can have all the games you want, also emulators, i have one hacked and a normal one
