If you don't care about online, hack it, if you do, don't hack it because you WILL get banned
Is there a way to never ever get banned no matter what? or with this early of homebrewing is there always a chance you will get banned even if you take all the proper security measures?

There is no way to avoid ban (maybe there is, but not shared to everyone) so keep that on mind, if you hack it you will get banned

It can work, but remember when he gets online he'll be flagged, so the risk is in there
Nope, if he makes a backup before doing anything and restores it once he stops hacking.
Also, if he never sent any error logs to Ninty, he can then later rebuild his NAND from scratch and that would be also safe.

I see, but there are ''traces'' of homebrew isn't it? besides doing that process is also tedious

Cool, you have a 1.0.0 switch, what does it feel to be a god?

My issue is I dont want to get banned and not have a switch, because I can't get another one.
Getting banned is not that bad, the only thing they ban is online access to games, friend list and Eshop, you can have all the games you want, also emulators, i have one hacked and a normal one

There can't be any traces if you restore a clean backup. Same goes for rebuild the whole NAND.
As long as there is no EmuNAND, it is actually still pretty useless :D

Considering that I also have to pay for online... No, thank you. I don't really care about bans (for now at least, that's why I have a second switch).

Don't wanna get banned? Don't hack your Switch. It's that simple.
Are you indifferent at worst about getting banned? Have fun, trying retroachievements with Retroarch, it's cool.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
