I was wondering what the correct steps of removing Pokemon Moon are now that the previously leaked version has proven itself to be not online compatible (even after the release).

Is removing the game through "System Settings >> Data Management >> Nintendo 3DS >> Software" and deleting the ticket with FBI enough?
Is there anything else that needs to be done?

Thanks a lot!

That should be enough. You might want to check the other data in system settings too, as SM might store StreetPass data there.

EDIT: Also, I suggest you backup your save data using JKSM, so you don't have to start over when you buy your real copy.

I have read somewhere NNID related stuff is in the safe.
Are you sure its safe to use the save from the CIA

It still isn't confirmed if they won't work after release since the leaks are using the same code as review copy's and reviewers where told not to go online until release day. There is still a slight chance they will be safe tommorow but who knows

any chance of version 0 being safe to play? I mean, the reviewers have the same version as us and they're safe to play tomorrow, so that means we're safe too, right?

I suggest you also start a new game, just to be entirely safe. The old save data may contain proof that you played prior to the release date.
