Rumor is he died a few months back.

On 8 April 2012, Khil suffered a stroke and was hospitalized with serious brain damage to the Mariinsky hospital in St. Petersburg, where he fell into a coma immediately afterwards.[8][9] In late May 2012, this became known. His condition was later reported as critical, with irreversible brain damage. Doctors were initially optimistic about a partial recovery, but later retracted these statements.[10] He died in the hospital in St. Petersburg on 4 June 2012, from complications from the stroke, aged 77

It works fine for me, still it is not worth waiting for because it probably will not get released. BTW: Crown3DS website
Clear your cache. It's down.

You're right, for some reason on Google Chrome, even after clearing everything, it is loading a cached website straight from Google. On Firefox it will not load. Not to surprised though that it went down.
im on google crome and itsdown.

Sad to hear, nice to know its a fact, i just hear at some parties this summer with college friends that he died, so i didn't take it as fact.

Well if there gone hopefully they will release the 72% of the hacking to the open. Maybe someone else can finish up the necessary 28% of the hacking and all will be well.

The domain did expire, but it just got renewed. You have to wait for the DNS to be up to date again. I wouldn't be suprised if the site is back up in 2 days time.

I'm actually happy that the site (and probably the project) died. 'cause now we can move on to something more interesting if it ever gets hacked.
CUSTOM FIRMWARES!!!
