Hacking Problems with Wifi Update

I'm having problems with the Wifi Update since I changed my wireless router. I get "Wifi Connect Problem" when trying to update the loader. Strangely I can go into the DSi Shop and surf with the DSi Opera browser with the same exact setup.

Any idea?

Make sure you use the latest wifi plugin http://akaio.gbatemp.net/wifi/ (it's dated 12/08/2009).

The Wi-Fi update is intelligent, it will only update the loaders you need. If you wish to remove the R.P.G. and AK+ loaders, from your AKAIO install, the updater will not replace them. If your experience problems while using the Wi-Fi update, make sure SSID is set to public broadcast on your router, as this is required.

My SSID is public and the Wifi Plugin is up to date. As I wrote before, Wifi updating worked fine before I changed my wireless router. Which is strange because I can go to the DSi shop with the same setup.

One difference that I just remembered is that I enabled WPA on my new wireless router. Could that be the problem?

yup acekard only supports wep or no security

Too bad. Then I have to manually update the loader ;(
