Thx alot for all the replies people, i finally got my card working but its very buggy, and only about 50% of the games are working.

I also got an kingston SD card with my DSTT card but its pretty weird cause i cant format it, anyone knows what to do?

once again, either take it apart and fix the spring, or send it back.

Kingston cards are usually very good.

What operating system do you have? I think some people have problems formatting a microSD with Windows Vista, so that might be your problem. You'll need another program to format it. A lot of people use this one:

It's possible that your problem is with your card reader. The ones that come with most carts are crappy, to put it bluntly. You might want to go buy a card reader (they're not expensive) from a local store.

already did it but didn't see how may fix! :-(

Can't you exchange it for a new one? Really, that's what I'd do. Otherwise, you'll have to do a search on the internet and see if you can find a guide for fixing a spring. I know that early R4's were notorious for spring problems, so I'm sure there are guides for fixing the R4's spring problem, and I'm guessing that the DSTT uses a similar mechanism.

There have been quality control problems with some DSTT's. If you get a good one, it's a great cart. That's why I always recommend that people ask their seller to test it before sending it out (it's in the seller's best interests to make sure the cart works before sending it). Also, make sure that you can replace it if you get a bad one.

Athang, it definitely sounds like you either have a bad DSTT or a bad microSD card. First try reformmatting your microSD card, and insert it without installing the kernel. You should get an icon that says "Menu?" if it detects a card with no firmware. If you're still getting a "No Card" icon, then try to borrow another microSD card and insert it. Again, don't worry about putting the firmware on it (yet). If it still says "No Card" then your DSTT is probably bad. See if you can exchange it for a new one.

Yea, used to work excellent. Only problem is the contact

. Thanks for the tip. Good idea to ask them to test it!
And sent it back for a replacement if u can athang or refund. The original cartiges prolly had no contact problems. These new white ones do.(some?)
