My PS2 is doing a lot of noise and if I stick the Memory Cards the farthest they aren't recognized (if I loose them a bit, they are). I have these problems for years and recently the DualShock 2's left analog stick starts to move by itself some times.

Weird. I connected Portta to my 1080p TV before doing the same to the new 4K one and now I have a black screen even though I have audio when playing PS2. I even tried the PS2 to HDMI Converter which was working (although it had some blackouts). I also tried different HDMI cables and directly connecting them to the TV and not to the HDMI switch. I have the same issue in all situations.

Your video settings are out of wack. You need to reset them blindly.
Once the ps2 loads,
push [down] [x] (this brings you to system settings)
push [down] [down] [down] [x] (this brings you to component video selection)
push right then X
Should reset your video to standard.
Either that or something got misconfigured in you tv menu.

I recalled that and I checked and it's still set as Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr.

You probably need to hook up your standard cables for it to work.

Also how can you know what it's set to if you can't see the video?

What standard cables are you talking about? I only have the component ones and even though they work in this TV, they don't in the new because it doesn't even have component inputs.

Because when I do it a message stating no signal shows up which means I set it to RGB so it was already set to Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr. It looks like I lost money in this Portta thing (and in the PS2 to HDMI Converter) for nothing. How will I play PS2 in the new TV?

Standard video cables, the red, white and yellow ones. I never had much luck with that brand of component to hdmi converter. Wouldn't even work with my old xbox 360 to display an image on my older 4k tv many years ago. Worked with the wii and original modded xbox but it was a no go with the 360 or PS2. Couldn't use hdmi on the 360 since the port was dead and I didn't feel like replacing it.

Another other option would be a component to RF modulator but they are very, very expensive and it's possible your new 4k tv doesn't have a coax input anyway.

I no longer have those.

Weird. It's working fine now. I hope it works in my new 4K TV. It supposedly has two RF inputs.

What about 240p PS2 games? Do I have to use GSM's PAL and NTSC settings for those and for the PS1 games to have display?

I do not know. All I can say is try it and find out.

It worked in this TV. I used GSM's PAL setting. This setting even woks for NTSC games. Anyway, having to do this every time I want to run one of these games is annoying.

Do you know if OPL may have problems with these games? My model is SCPH-75004.

Also, I can't update OPL using the network update setting. I always have an error. I have to update it via USB or FTP. Does network update install a new OPL build or does it download files to make PS2 games more compatible? I always have an error when downloading PS2 games' configurations in OPL too.

EDIT: I have display in the new 4K TV.

Should I delete OPL's settings when using a newer OPL version, regardless if it's Beta, Stable, DB, ifcaro, DB Beta, ifcaro Beta, VARIANTS, VARIANTS Beta, DB VARIANTS and ifcaro VARIANTS (and afterwards change the settings I want)?

EDIT: I deleted GitHub's OPL Beta settings, let the latest GitHub OPL Beta version create new ones and I noticed some default settings which I didn't change in the past PS2-HOME's OPL DB Beta and GitHub's OPL Beta versions are different than before. Maybe I didn't delete the settings from the first OPL version I used (which was a PS2-HOME DB Beta one) and I've just been replacing the OPL file with the ones from more recent GitHub OPL Beta versions (first PS2-HOME's OPL DB Beta and afterwards GitHub OPL Beta ones). If so, I assume PS2-HOME's OPL DB Beta's default settings are different than GitHub's OPL DB Beta's.

It looks like PS2-HOME no longer releases OPL DB Beta versions which supported PS1 games and according to it PS2-HOME's OPL ifcaro Beta versions (right now the only OPL versions released by this site) are the same as GitHub's OPL Beta ones but oddly their (PS2-HOME's OPL DB Beta versions) current build number is lower than the latter (GitHub's OPL Beta versions) and these PS2-HOME's OPL ifcaro Beta version and GitHub's OPL Beta versions unlike PS2-HOME's OPL DB Beta ones don't support PS1 games. How can one run PS1 games on PS2-HOME's OPL ifcaro Beta and GitHub's OPL Beta versions now (I suppose with POPStarter like PS2-HOME's OPL DB Beta versions did but in that case POPStarter would have to be manually downloaded since it came integrated with PS2-HOME's OPL DB Beta versions) via SMB?

After enabling sound effects, boot sound and background music in OPL, I have a black screen when running games and after emulating a Multitap in OPL in the second controller port, the controller stops working after running games.

Does one always have to download Data when installing a new RetroArch version in the PS Vita/PS TV? If one deletes the previous Data folder and copies the new one, RetroArch's settings (like controls and aspect ratio) will be deleted.

PS Vita and PS TV hang when extracting downloaded files from the Online Updater.

What's the difference between molecularShell and VitaShell?

If I copy PS Vita's/PS TV's license folder to their microSD card do I have to refresh the license database in VitaShell?

Some DLC is still missing on the PS TV according to PKGj after copying the addcont folder. Is it possible for some DLC to not be inside this folder?

Also, what's the appmeta folder?

Didn't even know there were button combos, but I do have ftp working as well as a dual sense controller.

After choosing PAL Yakuza 2's NTSC in-game setting, after choosing OPL's GSM's PAL setting (if I don't do the latter, I have no signal), the intro FMV stutters, but if I choose PAL Yakuza 2's NTSC in-game setting after choosing OPL's GSM's NTSC setting, it doesn't.

Dunno. Opl seems to have different compatibility depending on version. I could never get mm anniversary collection to work despite it showing fully compatibile.
