Hacking Problem with YSMenu

I Got a problem with YSMenu. When i try to load a game it stuck at the end of the loading bar and i got to turn off power before i can do anything else(The only thing that not stuck is that loading square)

Can somebody help me!!!!

Just to check
'Stuck @ end of loading bar' - Which end, do you mean on the left (hardly any bar showing) or the right (bar nearly full) ??

Did you follow These instructions exactly, or just unzip YSMenu & put onto the R4 directly

Edit: Just found This Thread that may make things easier

Also are you trying ROMs or Homebrew - I believe that trying to run Homebrew through YSmenu on a R4 can have problems

Is your R4 a genuine or a fake ??

I have a genuine before Ysmenu worked on the R4 the Real v 1.18(from r4ds.cn) Just works(but only game before Rom #3000) But i Followed that Guide. First it didnt make a r4patch.dat, Secondly i found the problem that i had to download a r4tf.dat. Then it made a r4patch.dat. But now the games wont load(Oh ye i used TTMENU v1.16 Instead of V1.17 and now it loads a game and the Loading bar is blue instead of grey

Unfortunately I don't have an R4 so I can't really help much - but you do say that 'it didn't make an r4patch.dat' & you had to download 'r4tf.dat'

Looking at the thread, in post #2 someone had the same problem then in post #3 - someone used YSmenu v08.05.22.22.22 & it did make a patch
Could you try this version & see what happens - it could be that the r4tf.dat you downloaded seperately has a problem with the games you trying to start

Remember that you'll still have to build/compile it before it will do anything.

If you have an original R4 why not try out wood_r4 1.08 - Its a newer firmware than Yasu's afaik and works perfectly on newer roms

Try this batch renamer http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=11163

It won't do any harm as it backs the saves up before renaming, and it will allow you to rename them back.

I'll find the linkf or YSmenu, someone else asked yesterday.
