After pluggin in a flashdrive, I can NO LONGER start up XEXMenu unless THAT flash drive is in USB0.

I did not copy any files over.

If I try starting it up without it plugged in, XEXMenu hangs on a black screen.

Any ideas?

(XEXMenu is installed on the 360's HDD btw)

Also, can you play a 'demo' off a USB drive in Freestyle or it has to be copied over? I have to use freestyle because it maintains the 100% fan in the game, while in XEXMenu it does not.

Demo as in XBLA "demo"- certainly.

Demo as in actual demo- I never had cause to play one outside of official methods but given you can play them from a stock 360 by burning a disc (can even be single layer) of the directory structure I can not imagine it being any trouble at all for a JTAG one. Worst case scenario is you have to manually extract the xex file with something like le fluffie and manually patch the xex file with xextool to run from USB.

As for your flashdrive problem I can see it happening to freestyle dash (you have the option of installing some files to the USB drive there) but xexmenu has stumped me. All I can think is that it has a USB drive set as the first directory it wants to read or something.
