Then something is strange with your uwuvci version. Try reinstall uwuvci. But you have to remove the installed version first. I read that it's not recommended to update over the older version

I tried using tecnomoon wii vc injector and managed to get wup's, but I keep getting black screen. (I also tried launching GameCube games. They get black screens too)

I guess then it's the jp console. Maybe you can change the region code, but I don't know a safe way to do that. It's interesting though that rhythm heaven fever is working flawlessly.
