Hacking Problem with Softmii on 4.0 Update

Can someone help me please. I was using softmii on a 3.2E Wii perfectly fine, when I discovered instruction on how to update to 4.0 with Softmii (http://softmii.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=298 bottom of the first post here),

I had a code dump error when installing the system menu wad file, and now my wii won't load at all (display anything on the screen). It doesn't even boot into preloader.

Can anyone help? or is my wii now just a shiney white brick?

Have you tried SavemiiFrii yet ( hold all the control pad buttons down on your gamecube controller ) to boot into recovery mode.
