Hacking Problem with soft reset (AKAIO 1.8.1)

Recently I updated my AKAIO from 1.5.1 to the newest 1.8.1, since them my soft reset has not been functioning properly.

Here's the problem; everytime I soft reset, it does so successfully, however the settings revert back to a particular set of undesirable settings, the most annoying thing is that my save type gets changed. If I then change this back and try to load a game again, it will freeze at a black screen. It is only when I hard reset that the games will work again... So basically my soft reset is redundant...

Does anybody have a solution for this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Back up everything off your card, then run disk management. Delete the partition on your card, make a new one, and let it format it. Then put your stuff back on and see if soft-reset behaves better.

Ah, so there's no solution yet? Other than to downgrade to 1.7.1? Would I still be able to play Golden Sun effectively?

the problem was traced back to some code, what code isn't really important, and has been fixed in the current beta (we think! lol).

Also encountered this problem and just disabled soft reset on mine because it was getting annoying.

However, I am relieved to hear that you have solved this and I can't wait for what's next, thanks for continually supporting AceKard
