Hello,

i have unpacked my old Wii and tried to play again.
My USB drive is missing. I tried to put a old Toshiba 1TB HDD USB 3.0 into it. A new WD HDD 4TB USB 3.0 and a old Sandisk USB 3.0 Flashdrive. Also a Kingston DataTraveler 16GB USB Flashdrive.
I have tried FAT32 and NTFS. All drives will be recognized. Free space and total drive space.

But no one of the games are recognized. I have tried wbfs and iso-Files.

I have tried to put them into the main directory and in wbfs and in games directory.

I use Loader GX. I have installed a new SD-Card (Old one was 2GB SD. New one was 4GB SDHC) and the newest Loader GX.

I have also tried the old cfg USB player.

Both doesn´t recognize 1 game of them at all.

I have tried to take a new dump from my Mario Kart Wii Disc into the flash drive over Loader GX. It startet and it was at once at 100% and freezes.

I can play normally over the disc, but i want to save my drive.

Could anyone help me?

A friend has made my Wii (i think in 2012) for me with my USB-HDD. I have looked and read a lot.
It seems that i have already installed 4.3 and new IOSes. I have read something with v8. Should i try to install the newest v10?

Hello,

Post a syscheck report here, please ==>https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

You can test the d2x CIOS, either version 8 final or v10, it's up to you to see if it works.

Recommend ==> use "" wii backup manager "to manage your games on usb media (external hard drive).

If you copy your games directly to the USB medium, without going through wii backup manager, it may not work.
