Hardware Problem with ps3 headset iCON p5hm-001

Hey guys I am at my friends house, and he recently bought a bluetooth headset its a i-con P5HM-001 ASD-116. The problem is that whenever we connected it to the PS3, it registers successfully, but it wont connect, when we go to the headset options and press connect, it says connectiion could not be established.

How do i get the mic working for them?

Is it paired correctly? If not attempt to pair it and if it asks for a passcode enter "0000" If it still fails to connect, try it with another bluetooth enabled device that supports a headset (PC, phone etc). If it works there, but not with the PS3 then it isn't compatible with the PS3.

Well thanks, but when I went to Audio Device settings, when it was registered, i just enabled it... So it works now
