Problem With Personal Photo

Whenever I try to set a personal photo, I get a message that tells me that there was an error and that I should contact a board administrator.

Has anyone else had this problem/know the solution?

It's kinda screwy. It randomly uploads the picture. There's actually been a thread about this before, so Idk if that's been fixed yet or not.

It's been broke (at least) since I joined, but I'm pretty sure it has been broke for a long time.

For avatars, you get the option to upload it to the internet and use that as an avatar, but since personal photos are personal, some people might feel uncomfortable uploading it to the Internet, so it only has the option to upload from your hard drive (this is just my guess, anyways). But you're still uploading it to the internet so it doesn't make much of a difference >_>

I don't know why there's no option for that for personal photos.

I don't actually know if it will entirely work, but ShakeBunny suggested that I try changing the picture from My Controls at the top of the page.

What do you mean, exactly? Could you elaborate a bit?

Which is what I've been doing the whole time. I assumed you had to be talking about something else; sorry.

Yeah this is a well known long standing bug, I haven't had a personal photo for ages because of it myself.

When the forum software get updated it should be resolved though, so if you could bear with us until then it would be appreciated.

well, fro those who don't know, what i did was i tried to upload the image several times, with the width and height, it failed each time.
hours later when i checked it, it already changed.
