Hello
So, lately, I've got a problem with video streaming on my pc
when i watch a video on Plex or Youtube, if i load a page on web browser or play game online
it happens sometime that the video slows down and voices/musics becomes robotic...
I checked once at my task manager when it bugged, and Plex was using like 70% of CPU, which isnt normal for that program
So, what could be the problem?
My CPU is old (2012) but I don't know, do I need to change of CPU?
I really don't know what to do, does anyone here has a solution?

Thanks in advance :)

Check for malware, viruses, CPU temps, dust, etc.
kaspersky is always active
as for cpu temp, when I did all what what caused thos robotic voices, all core topped 59C
my cpu is a intel i7-2600
what cpu is it, have you tried linux, and have you cleaned out dust. Thermals may be an issue.
Download HWMonitor and report back with the CPU temperatures.
just did, and cores topped 59C
Perhaps your Wireless Router?
I've had the same problem with Youtube but with my phone/s.

Have you tesed with different browsers?
I'm sure it's not a browser problem since it also happens to plex and Plex used like 70% of cpu power

oh and btw, I have no equipment to clean dust

Windows version? Do you have it up to date with patches? RAM sticks dying out? Try running in safe mode? I can't think of anything else.

You sure you're not running many tasks at once?
The CPU ussage seems a bit strange.

Two days ago my CPU ussage was at 90% ONLY with Windows Media reproducing my music.

Huh... maybe a Windows problem? Are you using Windows?

well, I havent updated windows for a while since it requires a reboot, and I'm always warned that I need to reboot when I'm in game :P
But does windows update really matter?
As for RAM, I've got 4 stick of 4gb each
How do i check if theyre dying
I don't see any abnormal uses of ram in task manager

Well, as i said, Plex used about 70% of cpu
Plex is a media streamer, not a media converter

I don't know, you'd have to test one RAM stick at a time, reboot, try another, repeat. Safe mode with networking, IDK. Doesn't hurt to have updates.

I do think they matter. Most of Windows 10 updates are to improve the overall system. Pretty much what Nintendo claims to do with their 3DS, only that Windows DO improve their systems.

How do you have your Ram? Is a Memory inserted in your CPU? or a bunch of sticks inserted as RAIDS? Are you using some kind of Software that magically turns your USB's sticks memory into RAM memory?

This last info is needed as I know two ways to check if your memory is working fine or not.

thanks guys

There was a time where you could use any Memory Stick and convert it into RAM memory.

But anyway.
The reason why I asked was because theres two things you could do to check your memory RAM.
The first one was using CMD if you were do using external RAIDS as Ram.
The second one is to update your Windows 10 and use: "Memory Diagnose" (or whatever is called in english) under the Administrative Tools for Windows tab.
