You're not giving us much to go on. Is it a brand new Wii? If so, it might have the new D3 drive which blocks all burned disks..

Need more info!

What kinda info do you need, ill give whatever i can.

CIOSCORP 3.6 to run the games and tried Neogamma r7 and r8 b15

Using the latest Cios (think so anyway)

Wii 4.2

Homebrew channel works and homebrew apps seem to work pretty well.

Sometimes the game will get to the loading screen before the menu.
Then brings up the can not load disc error and other times it just gets the error straight away.

It may be your DVD or a bad ISO. Wiis only like DVD-R and and it is recommended to use Verbatim. BTW I use ImgBurn @ 2x and never had a problem with them. Did you try more then one burned game?

Ive tried a few games on different dvd types and my dvd burner has worked fine for the wii in the past.

just noticed my disks were +R. So they wont work ever?

I had one old -R disk running a game but suddenly wont run, Probably got a bit dirty. Ill buy some -R tomorrow and see what happens.

Good choice?

Verbatim
16X Speed DVD-R
10 Pack Spindle

Thanks for the help so far

Does the drive read retail games? You must have a copy of Wii Sports laying around. Try that. If it errors out then you know your DVD drive is bad and no tinkering with cIOSs is going to fix it.
