Hello, so i've got my new 16 GB SD card that's detected correctly by the 3ds after few trouble and a not working integrated SD card reader drivers on my pc ^^

so when my new sd card is on the 3ds, i loose my theme, homebrew, fbi, all this kind of stuff, (maybe also my Boot9strap installation, i don't know how to check that), ...

So yeah i basically lost all the modded apps, savedata, and DLCs cause they aren't showing up in this new SDCARD.

It's detected as i have about 116000 left (or about 14 GB).

the soundhax isn't working anymore so i can't launch it ^^

So, what i have to do to get these apps back?

PS : my old factory sd card still work and have all the apps, data, ...

Use a computer with a fully working SD-reader/writer. Then:
  1. Copy everything from your old SD-card to the computer.
  2. Copy everything from the computer to your new SD-card.
  3. Put the new SD-card in the 3DS and all should be good.
You do not need to re-hack anything. B9S is installed on the 3DS, not the SD-card. If you used the guide, you have already updated your system, Soundhax can't be used anymore and is completely unnecessary.

That sounds like the SD could not be read. If the boot.firm file is not accessible it will shutdown (blue light on, off, nothing). As a failsafe you have boot.firm installed to the internal NAND, too so the system can start with SD. Despite boot.firm on the NAND I've seen this behavior once on my 2DS with a partially faulty card.
With the new card in, hold select while turning on the 3DS. On the bottom screen there should be in yellow "Booted from SD via B9S". Does this work?

yes it's booted from it.

(sorry for the late answer, tried to upload a screenshot, but it failed for some reason)

Last idea:

On the new card SD:/Nintendo 3DS/<Long ID0>/ is there more than one sub-folder with <Long ID1>? Maybe the 3DS initialized the new card and ignores the software?
Anyway, Try repeating the complete process:
  • Make sure the computer is fully working. This would be a stupid source of error. (I don't know what happened before)
  • Format the new SD with FAT32 (Make sure you have backed up all data if there is any additional data on it!)
  • Test the card with h2testw
    • If any error: Your card is defective.
    • If no errors, delete the test files and copy everything from the old card on again.
  • Put the new card it into the 3DS and try again.

still have my luma screenshot on my desktop, it's 9.1, so up to date.

OK, it seems that it was creating a new profile everytime i started the 3ds, so i deleted those profiles, and now it's working? i gess?

(talking about this : %root%\Nintendo 3DS\{An ID and other "private" called file}\{5 files with other different IDs}\ )

i will check that all savedata are working later, if they are working, then i'll mark this post as solved.
