Using latest version 1.6 finalbeta4 (unstable) on an m3 simply. Moonshell won't recognize .MP4 first of all. If i rename the .MP4 to .AAC it crashes and freezes. No itunes drm shit. I've used Nero to encode. Has anyone ran AAC's and if so, can you recommend what encoder/settings? thanks.

The AACs need to be RAW AAC (MP4 is a container which is all Nero's otherwise very fine encoder spits out), you can use MP4box to demux them although I suggest you use it in conjunction with YAMB (yet another MP4 box gui) to do the deed:
http://yamb.unite-video.com/ (there probably is a better link somewhere (I seem to recall some betas floating around) but that should get you started).
If you want an encoder to put out raw AAC then I believe FAAC does although the quality is not as good as Nero's implementation.

ill try your suggestions. thanks
