Hacking Priiloader Question

I downloaded the PriiLoader from WiiBrew and it only had one file within the compressed file. I created a folder within my apps folder on my SD card, but the PriiLoader file is not recognized. What am I doing wrong?

That's what I forgot...the boot.dol file!

BTW...what is the most up to date version of Preloader/PriiLoader?

I am currently on 4.2U with HBC 1.0.6

You have to have the correct usb loader .dol file installed in preloader/priiloader. Works for me.

the original .dol that used to work on 0.29 does not work, u have to search for a new dol that works on priiloader. If after searching u still can't find it, pm me and I'll send it to u when I am at home

I don't understand. I just copied the boot.dol from the USBloaderGX apps file into the root menu, installed in preloader/priiloader and it works fine.

u should use a forwarder dol, not the actual usb loader dol, I can almost guarantee u will run into problems, probably when updating

can you not just extract the dol from the frowarder channel??? would that work??

Don't mean to beat a dead horse, and I know it is subjective and based on people's opinion, but between the two...which would be considered better?

priiloader, it doesn't required you to have a patched system menu IOS, and there are some other bugs that were fixed

You are correct sir! I had 2 different revs running

. There is an official Priiloader gx forwarder dol out there that works like a hot damn!

Newest priiloader is Rev.1

could you get any more wrong?
rev != version
rev = revision = usually a way to show a version in a source control like svn (what i use for priiloader)
version = a number to identify a program

and its not rev1
its 0.1
not even 1

latest rev would be 25 which is only accessible if you compile it yourself

BTW Daco I can't seem to get the source to compile properly. My guess is I failed to properly setup the library provided with the source but None the less if you could offer a bit of help in this matter I would be quite greatful.
