I just installed Preloader 0.26! It went smooth! Gamma launches fine, just to note

I have a strange "problem". If my .ini files has many hacks and I scroll down to see the other, when I select an hack in the "scrolled down" part, Preloader enable/disable the code corresponding to that position as if I didn't scrolled. Example: last hack before "save settings" is "no copy patch". I scroll down and see "region free GC", now where "no copy patch" were. If I click it "no copy patch" change his value... Why?

Absolutely sure. I've used the new password, MARIU BRUZZA, and beside, this is my first install, so I can't have used the wrong .dol

Also, what is the hack to force the wii to use the language of the game? I've some game that require it. (To eventually apply it, I have to remove all the hack with hack remover and then reapply them?)

I've cleaned up my hacks.ini file, deleted the old one and now I can select all the hacks. I've removed all the hacks for other region (289). Maybe the hack.ini file was too full...

Well, now it works! (apart from the disc region patch. I've used the 290 version and if I change my resolution to 480p, my wii freeze. Also the game doesn't work...)

Did you clean you System Menu by installing systemmenu.wad?

Uhm, no. I just removed the .ini from the NAND with the hack remover and then used the new .ini on the SD with preloader.
Before I didn't used the disk region patch.

P.S. systemenu.wad is the wad version of the System menu 3.2E/U/J that I can find in the semi brick disk on hackmii? When should I use it? And Why?

Hi there,

first of all I would like to thank all of you awesome guys here researching, hacking and working on such great stuff like Preloader, CIOSCORP and the Riiskii-Pack!

My situation is I had downgraded to 3.2E and used Starfall+BL Gamma before. Yesterday I went on to the Riiskii-Mod and so uninstalled all Starfall-Hacks and BL. Since I already had 3.2 on my Wii I began with Phase 3 and finally successfully finished Preloader 0.25 and CIOSCORP-Installation.

Now I have two questions:

1.) Is it safe for me to use/install ARC as described in Phase 2 (step 12-19) after I "Riiskii-modded" my Wii?
2.) What is the safest way to upgrade from Preloader 0.25 to 0.26? What I already did is use Hack Remover to revert all applied hacks and replaced the hacks.ini in the sd card's root folder along with the new boot.dol in /apps/Preloader. As I'm too afraid to decide what to do next (use ARC to resfresh sysmenu or not) I need your help to get this Preloader upgrade done safely!

installed correctly to read me but got a problem............games are reconized in disc channel but cant load them from here still need to boot Gamma and if i try loading hooks from Gamma i get Errors but the games load any one else have this problem im on 3.2E thanks

Don't use ARC!

Preloader will do regionfree for you in v0.26.
The saftest way to upgrade is installing a fresh system menu and clean the installed hacks.ini with hack-remover.

So you say I don't need to install a fresh system menu? Anyway, what's the use in doing a fresh install of it? Why are some ppl saying that using Hack Remover AND re-installing sysmenu via ARC/semi-brick cd is recommended to upgrade PreLoader?
