Hacking Preloader 4.2E Hacks - Confirmed Working!

I have re-ported the preloader hacks for 4.2E FW, bar two (which will require a few cups of coffee and a session of IDA Pro, in order to solve).

Thanks a lot for the pal updates this time the wii boots fine & all hacks seem to work as stated

if boot2 was not installed the last set of hacks would have bricked me for sure.

That was my mistake! That's a duplicate of an experimental hack that I was playing around with that plays music in the background, when you click on and exit a channel (i.e. semi-custom background music). I have updated the hacks.ini in this post and included the correct sound hacks, including the experimental one!

The changes are:

Seems to work for me. Have you tried it with "Skip Diagnostic Disc Check" enabled? I take it you are trying to run an original out of region GC disc and not a DVD-R? If still no joy I can send you a combintion of alternative patches to test if you like?

The ones on wiibrew for 4.2E do not work, I am porting these myself and will submit them to wiibrew when I have had enough confirmations and have solved the wii region hacks.

Updated the link and changed it to a TrafficShare Download, so there should no longer be any issues.

You might want to double check your hacks.ini or disable and re-enable the hack. I have confirmed this hack working on 7 consoles and can copy SSBB and MarioKart data to and from the SD card with no problems!!

Me, because I like to know how many people download (lets me know if the work I'm doing is appreciated)

My link is also on RS TrafficShare (this means that non RS users get a direct download and are not subjected to count down clocks or speed restrictions), so I'm paying the BW, though I'm sure I can afford it on a 1KB file, lol!
