No matter what i do, the thing doesn't work.
I followed the guide on github exactly, and I only have one WAD on there, not counting the wad that contains the Prboom fikes themselves.
What do i do?
other homebrew still works.

I'm not sure if the filename might be case sensitive or not. Have you tried it in all lowercase?

did you copu your "legal acquired" WAD file to /3ds/PrBoom-Plus/ of your card?

Also remember your files on the card must be on the folder /3ds/PrBoom-Plus/

Yes i did. Rename did not help

Actually, to be more accurate the file name could not be changed to lowercase

Change the name and extension to something else, e.g. "_DOOM2._WAD", and then rename it again to "doom2.wad".
just now mine is called:

SD:/3ds/PrBoom-Plus/DOOM.WAD

by the way, did you dumped DSP firmware?

Ah, I see. I guess it's not case sensitive after all then. Really sorry OP, I'm genuinely out of ideas at the moment :/ Hopefully Impeeza's instructions might help in some way.

The two things stopped me to load the game at first was:

the name of the 3ds subfolder (I had used PrBoom+) MUST be PrBoom-Plus and I did used a invalid WAD file, copying again a valid one the homebrew run flawlessly.

The fix to this is simple - for some reason you can only use a file called doom.wad
When I want to play doom 2 I have to go into FBI and rename doom2.wad to doom.wad (after renaming doom.wad to doom.wad1 for example)

That will do it.

I tried renaming it and it didn't work. assuming my wad file is invalid, where can i get a valid one.

You can legally buy doom on steam, gog and other platforms.

any other way of get it is considered piracy and is not condoned by our site and is against the site rules

if helps you my DOOM.WAD have a MD5: 792fd1fea023d61210857089a7c1e351

but google is your friend.
