30Fps cheat in Peace Walker makes the game run even slower.. anyone know how to get around this? Ok i think i found the problem, I had the 60fps and 30 fps cheats all in the same file. removing the 60fps one seems to have fixed it.

After some more testing, these are my results (Still 1.7GHz OC, 1x Res):

    Ace Combat X - Stable 30 FPS
    Asphalt Urban GT2 - 20-25 FPS
    Burnout Dominator - 20-28 FPS
Burnout Legends - Game either crashes or blackscreens during car select. (I still have sound when blackscreens occur)
GTA Vice City - 15-20 FPS
Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd - 25-28 FPS
    Jeanne d'Arc - 22-25 FPS
    Persona 3 Portable - Stable 30 FPS
    Valkyria Chronicles 2 - Stable 30 FPS
    Valkyria Chronicles 3 - Stable 30 FPS
    WipEout Pure - 30-40 FPS
    WipEout Pulse - 30-35 FPS

So, yeah. Racing games are not playable for the most part, but RPGs tend to seem fine. Also, fullspeed Ace Combat is a good thing.

PPSSPP is a great addition to the Switch. There are so many games I wanted to play but never got around to it on PSP. But how with a PSP emulator on a dope ass piece of hardware, there are so many good things about this.

When you make any changes to the settings you're supposed to close content, then reload the core then reload the game otherwise it will likely crash. Most settings don't even change until you restart Retroarch anyway.

if you're playing iso/cso, installing extra wouldn't really do anything. unless the game actually forces you to do so?

Essentially a PSP with a much larger screen and detachable controllers! The Switch emulator scene is only getting better and better. Excited to give this a go.

Hence why some "ports" from PSP to PS4 are just the game in an emulator with fancy effects.

For a remaster it works pretty well. Now I would not like if they call them remakes or something.

"A remastered version of the original PlayStation game was released for PlayStation 4 in 2017 for the game's twentieth anniversary." From https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PaRappa_the_Rapper

That's the game "port" that was hacked to find it runs on an emulator.

to be fair what is a "remaster" other than a marketing term for a port?

Sometimes is used to sell the same game that a year ago but with all patches on and maybe a few extra levels. But nowadays the term "Golden Edition" or "Game of the Year" is used for that instead.

Sonic Mania is notable because it just added a "Plus." due to Encore mode and two extra characters.
