I have Pokemon Y/OR save files that I got via Powersvaes.

I would like to extract them to use in PKHex.

I know I need to get a special file from Powersaves to make my save file usable.

Does it have to come from the game itself or can it come from any Pokemon Y/OR game from Europe?

If it can could someone extract my files for me or would I have to buy a new Powersaves?

There is a way to decrypt them, but once you modifiy them, you cant re-inject them with powersave.
I know there's a way to decrypt them. I'm just wondering if it has to be done with the cart the save file came form or if it could be done with any cart or any region.

I am not sure about that, but i am sure it would be USELESS. Because even if you re-encrypt them, if you edited them, then powersave won't inject them.

I don't want to re-inject the save files, I just want to convert them to .sav files.
How can you decrypt them?

If I recall, you have to use a program in addition to using Powerssaves to get a code that allows you to decrypt your save file.

powersaves just dump the raw data, so you already have a .sav (which afaik can be used with gateway). However, the only way to unpack the sav (which is actually an archive with other files inside), is by using a 3ds and homebrew such as FBI or jksm. However, those tools need the save to be present inside the card or linked to a game installed to sd. (So they can use the default functions the 3ds offers to access saves in normal situations). As far as I know, there aren't any tools that allow you to decrypt and unpack an standalone sav file. The only thing you can do is flash the save to a cartridge and use fbi to view it's save. I'm not sure if you can flash a save into another card. You can always try :P

Wait, i don't understand. I put the .sav on the SD, and i get a cart of the game, i boot FBI, and it can inject/decrypt the save?

It needs to be injected back with powersaves to the cartridge (that's what I meant with card) as it is a raw encrypted save. It's only possible to extract the contents of a save file if it is inside a cartridge or installed game afaik

So....can i just download a .sav from internet and rename it to a powersave name?

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
