Gaming Power issues.

I just started using my DS lite again and I am having some issues.
The power switch does not work, so I have to try turning it on like 10 times before it boots.
Once it boots, it will randomly shut off when I press the buttons with a little pressure.
Can I fix this or am I screwed?

Sounds like something is loose. You might have to open it up and take a look around. Do the screens flash when you try the power switch?
