Hello all,

A while back I had made a request for the ability to HIDE the slide menus in postloader. Has that ability been added with a switch or setting? I wanted to be able to use postloader strictly as apps/homebrew launcher. I do understand that I am able to do everything in postloader that other apps can do by themselves, but im old fasioned and like postloaders ability to do sub folders. I have my own sorting method. the slide menus, top and bottom, get in my way and give a false direction from the setup i use which is only homebrews mode in postloader.

Hello everyone! I've been trying to setup postloader to boot my Emunand games. Everything works great so far, the only problem I'm having is when selecting "return to wii menu" exiting a channel. Is there an option to have the game return directly to postloader?

I've been trying to setup neek2obooter.app without success (takes forever to exit a game and gives "system files are corrupted" screen). I think I must be swapping the wrong files.

I can use the "return to" feature in Wiiflow just fine, but postloader is a lot faster and I don't really like Wiiflow's interface.

Congrats on the amazing app!

btw, using 4.3u emunand

You can use Postloader as System menu replacement.
You'll need "priiloader" and postloader loader dol
install the postloader loader dol in priiloader and change priiloader autoboot settings to "installed file" and return to "autoboot" this way postloader will load when the wii is turned on and when you exit any game or channel.
As for the "system files corrupted" message you can either extract your own nand to usb and install you wads using showmiiwads (PC app) or use a modmii nand + your cert.sys file + your shared2 folder
P.S> I have a guide in my sig for neek2o which applies to Postloader as well.

Thanks! But you mean priiloader on neek2o? I read neek2o dropped priiloader support on r96. Do I have to revert to r95?

I think I didn't make myself clear. Here's what I'm trying to do:

-Load postloader (either real NAND or neek2o mode) (I've got it set to autoboot on neek2o settings)
-Load a channel on neek2o from postloader
-Return to postloader on neek2o after hitting "wii menu", so it doesn't load the ever loading sm on my emunand (too many channels)

Thanks in advance

can someone please help me? postloader isn't finding any usb device at all!!

i've tried with 4.4.12 , 4.4.14t1, and a version that dumps the functions in a log file. and this last one reports a null in all devices except for sd card :S

in CFG usb loader everything works just fine but postloader just can't find it, no matter what version or if i reload the damn cache, whats wrong??

i have latest cIOS 222 & d2x-alt in slot 249

i tried configuring the program to use cios in slot 249 but same result. i don't know what else to do.

the solution I provided is for "real nand"
if you want something similar for neek2o you need to go to di menu and change autostart to "postloader channel" (you need the forwarder in this case.
And about the slow loading you can try this kernel which should only check for the 48 channels instead of checking for "all" channels which should be much faster
give it a try and let me know if it makes things faster for you: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tkhyq89p66byxve/kernel.bin
copy to sneek folder on first active fat32 partition

Syscheck, to see if IOS 58 is there

Thanks! Tried that.

Well... Still takes ages to load.

As I said, postloader is already set to autoboot on the neek2o settings, the problem is when I exit a channel and it takes me to sm, I want it to take me to postloader to bypass the sm. It seems to be done by swapping the system menu app for neek2obooter.app, but I can't get it to work...

Hi guys, just tried out the neek2obooter.app file and replaced my 4.1U SM.app (0000007b.app) renamed it to sysmenu.app and renamed neek2obooter.app to 0000007b.app. I believe I did it correctly but whenever I try to launch into the NAND with neek2o channel I get a broken "Your Wii's Memory is corrupted, check your wii manual" error, or something like that cuz literally the text is all garbled up. So a few questions:
  • Is this the normal behavior? I can still access the games and play them with WF. I'm going to try PL as well now.
  • My NAND is always in usb1://nands/flownand. Will this cause a problem with PL4 since I believe it's supposed to use pln2o for launching from real nand?
  • Is the nand path configurable? If not I guess renaming the flownand folder to pln2o and changing the path in wiiflow.ini should keep things compatible for both loaders right?
same here too

I have a different issue with the neek2obooter.app file and I'm wondering if anyone is successfully using it to launch ww/vc games using neek2o mode?

In the usb nands folder I have a pl_us and a pln2o nand. The pln2o nand has the neek2obooter.app installed and it successfully launches PL whenever I boot into that nand.

When I'm in real nand using PL, I have it pointing to pl_us for ww/vc. For problematic games, I configure the game to launch in neek2o mode. When I launch the game, it successfully copies to the pln2o nand but it doesn't execute the game, instead it just boots me in to the the System Menu of the pl_us nand.

I noticed that the neek2obooter.app file is listed as obsolete on the PL google code page, does that mean that it's not a valid option for launching in neek2o mode? Does anyone have it working as it should? Thanks in advance.

In case anyone wanted a tool to convert the WiiFlow plugin configuration to the PostLoader format, it's included in the Plugin editor tab of this app.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/5yb97ybeea6v9qr/SourceMenuEditor.zip (updated link ... see below)
It's still a work in progress but you should still be able to save the converted plugin.conf file. You'll just have to copy all the images from your WiiFlow source_menu folder to the PostLoader plugins folder manually for it to work completely.

Added a link to this post in the first page ;)

Thanks for the reply. I got the updated file in place and I tried it out. I found that I was able to launch small sized games in neek2o mode (mainly TG-16 games) but larger WiiWare games failed to execute after they were copied to the pln2o nand. Sometimes the screen would go blank and sometimes I would get the corrupted files error.

Please tell me the version of neek2o you are using. I'm actually working on plugins count, then I will look on this. Give me just 2-3 days ;)
