ok....so b27 loads WiiSX...however when I quit WiiSX it quits to the homebrew channel....kinda weird.....but thank you for fixing so quick!!

All homebrew that calls 0x80001800 instead of exit(0); (as they should) returns to hbc.... maybe this can changed

So what version of postloader should we use? I'm going to try b26...

27t1 is the suggested, I will keep all modification I've done.. I'm working on (basic) online-update.. I want to release 27 with this feature.

QUOTE(DEFIANT @ Jul 31 2011, 12:41 AM) Confirm, I now have pacman working under b27t1. Seems I was missing a pacman.6e. I'm not sure why it was working under hbc but it was.

That's good ! I do not have any idea whay its run under hbc without that rom

ok b26 works as well. There is only one problem with the game, it freezes when you use the home button to call up system menu. Not sure if that's pacmans fault or postloaders. I also noticed that I had several of the wrong roms from pukman mixed in there as well. I deleted them all except what was required by pacman. Well thank you for helping sort this out. Pacman is one of my favorite wind down games.

Hmm...I don't have much time to check out all the progress anymore. gbatemp is blocked on my new job, and my new girlfriend takes up most of my remaining spare time. I just want to jump in to let you know that I'm still in support of this application, and that each update gets a smile on my face.

@stfour.....not a big deal but smsplus also returns to homebrew channel.....
Erm...I think you misunderstand stfour's reply on the top of this page: WiiSX and smsplus (and probably a bunch of others) don't quit to the home menu when you press the 'quit' button. They explicitly run the HBC instead. The "maybe this can changed cool.gif" isn't a promise to fix postloader, but an invite to the coders of wiisx (and other homebrew apps) to use the proper exit-commando.

(the only reason I have the HBC still on my uneeked nand is exactly because those programs tend to exist).

Oh, and you might want to use the latest version of genplus. It can play master system/genesis games as well.

Yes, right

No, wrong... was a promise to try to solve that

I found gantpune code to manipulate the title pointed by hbc stub...

buld 27 test 2 patch the stub to return to system menu. Obviusly this make sense only if priiloader is installed. Can someone try b27t2 ? I've tested succesfullu with pacman and wiisx (both where returning to hbc on exit)

but does genplus play gamegear games as well?

I have a question about your emu-nand support. Is it using triiforce or mighty channels to load up channels or is it bulit into the app? If so which has a higher compatibility?

Another question: How do I setup a default app to load right away?

triiforce and mighty channels uses cios
postloader uses ios's

Also postLoader relays on cios for nand emulation. It true that normally start on ios(58)

@kylster

postLoader nand emu support is based on last build of triiforce. It was better to modify for my porpouses than m.c. Even m.c. is based on triiforce... with nice additions on inteface.

From point of view of emulation I think that they are about the same.

postLoader2 b28

* Corrected a bug introduced in b27 that prevents nand cache to be read back
* Implemented online update ( [Home]->options->Check online for updates )
* Corrected missing screen redraw on hiding a channel title

postLoader2 b27

* Corrected arg managment (now WiiSX works)
* Devices passed as args are now lowercase (like hbc)
* postLoader now patch che hbc stub to force the return to System Menu title (priiloader) thx to giantpune for his code

also this is an awsome app

Hi all

I just finally got a chance to try this out. I think it's a great alternative to HBC, since it also allows for Channel launching. I don't even have to switch to my UNEEK NAND, which simplifies everything.

I have searched for this, and didn't find it (or anyone mentioning it) so I thought I'd ask.

Is there any way to add support for wbfs files (ie. Integrated USB loader). If this was the case, I could switch to this for basically everything. I know it might be a huge things, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Thanks

I second this; it just seems like it's such a tedious task to accomplish.

You know If it did do this I would think of my Wii as a "RedMage" to say simple Jack-of-all-trades.
