Does anyone know how to search for the countdown timer in Super Mario 3d World? I searched through every memory address and I got nothing.

It's somewhere in the range of 38000000 - 3E000000. when the remaining time decreases search for unknown, less than values

SPLATOON 2.7.2 EUR
12CE45E0 = Octovalley Orbs

But i cannot make them to apply (the value never change when I poke RAM address); I am using normal TCPGecko; any hint ?

EDIT
Solved: you need to poke the value OUTSIDE the internal Octovalley "shop".

I'm interested in getting a full health Wolf Link in BotW.
To this end, an infinite health code for Twilight Princess HD (USA) is needed.
I couldn't find a working code, so I created one that at least works for me. I did not try to pointer search, so I'm not sure if the address will move around.

Infinite Health
00000000 10647B4D
00000050 00000000

The Max hearts code acted strangely for me as I already had 20 hearts in game - it reduced my total hearts to 16.
I changed the value to 64 in the Max Hearts code to fix it:
00000000 10647B4B
00000064 00000000

A note on saving the progress to the amiibo: it seems like you may need to have used the amiibo to heal on the last run in order to save over it again. I did not use it to heal and was not given an option to save over it (I may have missed it though).

Can you port the Infinite Health code to the PAL version ,please?

I'm sure there's a way to create a makeshift one out of the current codetypes, but this is also something I'd like to see.
The only way I can imagine to do this would be with the Integer registers to remember the state in which you are in, but you can only load values from adresses and not set your own values.

@CosmoCortney It would be really nice if you would add a codetype like the switch code from http://www.geckocodes.org/index.php?arsenal=1#CC

Sorry, I don't have the PAL version. This code is pretty easy to make. All you need to do is do an unknown search for 8bit value (probably between 10000000 and 11000000) and get hurt, do less than search, rinse and repeat (might throw an equal to search in there after moving around a bit without losing health).
Once you narrow it down to a couple of addresses, try right click-poking them to a different value (50 is 20 full hearts I believe). If your hearts change, you found the address.
Then just change 10647B4D to the address you found and use the rest of the code I posted.

Thank you @DarkFlare69
If someone is interested. The address for the button inputs for Gamecube Controller in port 1 in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (SSB4) V 1.1.6 are at 11A30610 (there are also at address 11A30580 but with an other bit pattern). Port 2 is at 11A30890. Port 3 is at 11A30B10. Port 4 is at 11A30D90.
Bit pattern:
A = 0x00000001
B = 0x00000002
X = 0x00000004
Y = 0x00000008
D-Pad Left = 0x00000010
D-Pad Right = 0x00000020
D-Pad Up = 0x00000080
D-Pad Down = 0x00000040
Start = 0x00000100
Z = 0x00000200
R = 0x00000400
L = 0x00000800
Joystick Left = 0x00001000
Joystick Right = 0x00002000
Joystick Down = 0x00004000
Joystick Up = 0x00008000
C-Stick Left = 0x00010000
C-Stick Right = 0x00020000
C-Stick Down = 0x00040000
C-Stick Up = 0x00080000

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

    It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    @SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

    anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

    if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
    still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
    It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
