Still not working for me. My wiiu doesn't show up at all. I can go into homebrew, TCPGecko, I press "X" to install the CosmoCortney code handler, it then reboots to system menu, I statrt a game, in this case its the Legend Of Zelda, the Windwaker HD, I then open up JGecko, auto detect is already clicked, it says connecting but nothing happens. If I enter my ip manually, nothing happens except for an error message popping up and my wiiu fails to show up. Any help with this would be much appreciated right now as I think Im going to lose it and throw this wiiu the window. Thanks in advance.

are you going to be using those MK8 cheats online or what ?

it is not so funny to ruin the game for others.

Yeah i know it's not funny to ruin the game and plus, i wasn't having much fun with it anyways... I had a hard time testing which items work and which ones don't instead... cause ALL of the items freeze the wii u or just drop on the floor or simply can't be used... It's just so annoying... i think i will have to wait until bully fixes the bugs... Meanwhile, i guess not using it is the only option left...

There should be a DHCP section, where it lists all devices with a DHCP connection.
Nothing in my router settings which say DHCP settings. Also, I cannot actually see my wiiu in my router settings.

I'm on plusnet fibre optic and use a Technicolour TG582N router.

Here is the error I got when I attempt to use JGecko.

Do you know how to use the watchlist?
I've used it a couple of times when seeing if a value changed.

I'd try the addresses for all four of the unknown devices

When I use tcpgecko it there an ip address 192.168.1.37, I think this is my wiiu, just doesnt connect. Wii U finder doesnt even load up, Ive tried Advanced IP Scanner and this doesnt work either. the only one that brings up an ip is tcpgecko. Must be something daft but its doing my head in

I doubt it's. 37 since that's not listed in your router

You know I am very surprised not many people realized that the item hack has been released quite some time ago by fishguy or someone else. That would explain why MK8 has been so quiet everytime I get on to play. Perhaps now it will get messy, time will tell.

This is some default IP address which does not depend on your setup at all so it's basically like me putting mine in there by default but it's useless for everyone else. You just have to find your Wii U's IP address and put it in AFTER you installed the TCP Gecko. It's really simple. Advanced IP Scanner should find the Wii U.

Of course it helps if you know your Wii U mac address, this should match right on that router log. In your Wii U, you should be able to view it under system settings and under internet or Network (I forget).
