Has street pass been suggested?
So I'm pretty sure this is fake...
But I'm curious as to what it really is.

The keys to encrypt games won't be on the 3DS, just the keys to decrypt them.dump them off the 3ds (possible)
we could crack them(impossible), dump them off the 3ds (possible), or have someone who works at nintendo give them to us( could happen but chance resembles winning the lottery a couple times in a row.)
You don't understand Japanese business culture. Would never happen, even under the threat of death.we could crack them(impossible), dump them off the 3ds (possible), or have someone who works at nintendo give them to us( could happen but chance resembles winning the lottery a couple times in a row.)
We have one key (singular) and that means very little for hacks. It just means you can decrypt software for that platform. Which makes it easier to look for exploits, but not much else really. It isn't some magically incredible hacking accomplishment, it's a useful development for those that know what they're doing with it. But it doesn't mean a hack will happen, certainly it doesn't mean it'll happen quickly.dont understnad why we dont do DSI first
we have the keys for that
So then if we have the keys to decrypt a game, then we can look through the game files. Then will it be possible to make an emulator? The keys to encrypt games won't be on the 3DS, just the keys to decrypt them.dump them off the 3ds (possible)
you can clearly see this is running in ds modeSo I'm pretty sure this is fake...
But I'm curious as to what it really is.

I know this is a hacking theories thread, but the idea is that you share the theory instead of keeping it to yourself. Just out of interest, how much experience do you have in hacking and reverse engineering?I think I know an exploit, I just need time to think. It involves some "vulnerabilities" I've noticed with the Nintendo 3DS.
