Also JamesDSP doesn't have the same Surround Options as V4A, i really miss Differential Surround it worked great

Get it from Magisk. Works great with audiomodlib and the compatibility patch. Use the workarounds when asked if you have problems.]
Already tried that method. I wouldn't be moaning about it if i hadn't tried that already! :rofl2:
i think its just a fucking Huawei thing cause they hate customisability in all senses of the word.
RIP BOOTLOADER UNLOCKING ON HUAWEI DEVICES
like, their battery management is so controlling that even on "Manual" it auto closes background apps and kills them even when you want it in the background. i blame EMUI.

After the boondoggle that is the 6P, I'll never own another Huawei product. Xiaomi makes unlocking a waiting game, but at least they officially support it and encourage third party development. I don't have a single complaint about my RN6P.

Also, I forgot to ask, but how long has it been since you've tried the Magisk module? The developer behind it has added some compatibility workarounds and patches for ROMs that kill services and such. Oh, and how did you install Magisk without an unlocked bootloader? I have to use them in order for it to work on MIUI.

You installed Magisk with a locked bootloader? HOW? I'd love to know.

I was wondering this, too, but I figured they did some weird pseudo-installation with SuperSU and an exploit.
i have a P20 Pro, i was lucky enough to get my bootloader code while they still offered it back in july last year. so its my last Huawei cause of this.
and as i'm on EMUI 9 which is Pie based i NEED to have magisk as my recovery for it to work. also fuck Huawei's battery management.

i mean i'll give the magisk version another go, but no promises because fuck the UK models /s

It's called screenshot. It's from the Market and requires root.
Really, I have never seen a screen shot app that requires root permissions? I have used disable flag secure option within root to allow a screen shot of a bus ticket or banking app that did not permit without this, however never to just use the app itself!

The post you're replying to is from 2010. My guess is that Android probably didn't have a built-in screenshot function back then yet.
