Michelangelo was known for not adding the anus in anything he did.

It's a mistery, probably the biggest mistery of all time.
Why Michelangelo didn't added anuses in it's work?
It's well known that artists used dead bodies to paint figures and study anatomy.
Most religious paintings of Virgins/Saints of the Renaissance Era were dead prostitutes.
Also, since Religion had a big influence in Government, it was forbidden to NOT PORTRAY jesus in any artwork (meaning that every artwork must have had a depiction of Jesus), which is why Cherubs, Angels and Children has weird adult like faces.

Probably Michelangelo tried to avoid conflict with church by portraying mother fucker jesus as pure as possible, thus, not adding the anus.
