ROM Hack Possible workaround to hgss ap patch problems?

Now that we have a full english version of the game, is it possible to "simply" transcribe the dialogue etc to an english patch for the japanese version? Im not sure how rom hacking works but I am pretty sure that to get the text and such from the usa rom wouldnt require one to actually play the game to get the text because it's in the script. Not sure about terminology but the idea is straightforward enough.

Sure we wouldnt get the graphical parts (like status) in english but at least the majority of the game and story would be.

People have already tried simply moving the US script to the JP ROM. Doesn't work. It points to the wrong stuff so the menu is all glitched and it would start in the wrong area when you go to play.

The USA english roms of HG and SS have been out for days.

The M3 Team has confirmed that they are working on a patch. Spamming them will simply slow their process.
