i have to tried to access the UserCP to login with my username and pw.

Isn't there a way to turn it off though? I can imagine that sometimes automerging is not preferable...

go to the log in page an type in the Username instead of the email, worked for me

btw: i have to relog in every time i revisit gbatemp. i checked the option "remember me" but it doesnt work :'(
