two games (possibly more...) of my games for some reason have a japanese titles in the game selection menu

the games are...
-meteos
-theme park

Note: Games are trimmed and in 1.08 the titles are in english so what gives...

Sonic Rush is that way too....dunno what's up with that. The games still play fine, so I wouldn't worry about it much.

Yeah I think it's not a big deal.
I noticed too that meteos have japanese titles but it doesn't bother me at all.

1.09 brings decent improvements, so I don't see why I'd downgrade for a reason like that o_O

its enough for me to downgrade to 1.08 which i have.

But 1.09 also fixed a couple games that weren't working in 1.08. I don't consider a few title errors enough of an issue to downgrade when it fixed some games.

But then again, I also heard some people say they had problems using cheats in 1.09, in which case I could understand a downgrade, but since I generally don't bother using cheats, I never really noticed.

I've been using the R4DS from the start, but since they released the firmware with the themes file, i cannot get a skin to work. It just keeps reverting back to the beta skin. I've tried placing the skin in the root of the SD card. In the '_system_' folder. In the 'Themes' within the '_system_' folder...and nothing works.

Assuming you haven't done this, you need to replace the original skin files in "_system_\themes\theme01" with your own. Then boot the R4 and press Select to load your theme.

If you've tried that and you still have trouble, then you can use chishm's r4crypt (yasu's is supposed to be more refined, but I have no experience with it and can't find a link quickly) along with case's injektor to overwrite the default skin built into the firmware.

Perfect, thanks! I completely forgot about setting the skin manually.
