OK, so I successfully downgraded my 3DS... Now, what is the recommended homebrew app for CFW and emuNAND? Preferably one that DOESN'T require me to backup all my downloaded game saves...

You're gonna have to backup your saves regardless. There's no way around that since creating an EmuNAND formats your SD in order to create the hidden partition that it runs on.

Saves are in NAND, they're copied to EmuNAND when creating it, no need to backup.

memchunkhax1 does work I think on 1.0 to 3.0, so it should work there too.
there is no way to run 3dsx there though, so it isn't possible to test that yet

maybe an upgraded browser to execute custom arm11 code can be used to test it ? dunnow xD

can i use this hack to downgrade 10.6J firmware for New 3DS LL i bought here in japan..currently I cannot purchase gamecards/sky3ds for other entrypoints..thanks

It is used for 10.4-10.6 downgrading iirc

But you will need to buy something, as all freehax were patched 10.6

Yes, it can be used up to and including 10.7. But this isn't an entry point, only a downgrade method, so you will still need an entrypoint, and on 10.6 the only entrypoints are game based. Ninjhax, oothax, smashbroshax, freakyhax, those are pretty much your only options. And oothax requires a hacked 3DS or a savedongle/powersaves to install.

i also thought of that after hours of searching..do you know where ot buy sky3ds here in japan which accepts paypal..
i tried 2 resellers but Payment Failure due to unknown reasons when i input my foreign credit card details..

I don't know about Sky3DS resellers in Japan but you should be able to get Freakyforms Deluxe for a reasonable price if you check local stores.

sorry but this exploit was fixed in 11.0, it can't just be ported over. a brand new exploit needs to be found but we don't have one yet.
