Didn't Waninkoko do this with hamster heroes at one point? I think he posted a video here with a hamster channel and said it was running from the nand. It was quite a while back if i can dig it up it post a link.

In theory all you'd need to do is modify the read path to the NAND (I don't know if it'd have to be the USB Loader or cIOS but I suspect both).
It'd be a pain in the ass to pull off but it's doable.

fixed that for ya

anyway, sure that isn't a usb forwarder?
Apparently this was before USB loading was ever heard of.

if memory serves me correctly this was in the early days of usb loading. i believe that he stated that the game itself was running from the nand and that he wasn't going to release it because it wasn't useful due to the small storage capacity of the nand.

I don't know much about programing but it sounds like toejam is on the right track. rewriting the read commands to the nand in the usbloader code. then just figuring out how to package that and the netflix iso into one nice little .wad package.

@ wes11ph
it's really only useful for netflix users.

But its still useful. Making disc-based games working as channels may be useful in the future as well.

Now that you mention it, it could be useful for gaming in conjunction with sneek. or even possibly triforce.

Eh. Games are overload think. Unless we get more small releases like this. Also, have alerted wanin, will see if we get a response.

A game is the only thing that is currently proven working with this method. Usbloader's really make the gaming portion of this obsolete but it would still be pretty cool to load a bunch of wii games off of an emulated nand using sneek. just seems like fun to me.
