In most cases the "Name" under gameinfo must match the actual filename with extention and not match the ROM name above.

Even changing filename to match file ext didn't work

And i know it has a cheat function...

From hex file of "ezfla_up.bin"

Cheat error!continue=A returnB

But seems like it's stored where all the other file menu messages are

Even created a "cheat" folder and put the .cht there still no dice

Found out how to Use them

But it crashs the game

Have to flash the rom to NOR
then when you start the rom from there a new screen pops up with a menu but only problem now is
that the menu names are Blank and when i turn one to on/Blank and load the rom it crash's

Added a pre-made cheat to the file and now it shows for the names
And when click it doesn't show ON it just shows up Blank

The short answer is, the EZ4's built-in cheat support is broken (it might work under NOR, as Jack-of-Trades suggested, but even then it doesn't sound very stable). Having said that, you can use GBAATM which works in most places, including the EZ$. Now, GBAATM can be a little hit and miss at times, but it's worked rather well for me (especially if I want a cheat nearly always on).

Thank you!

I patched all the games I had with cheats and thought I was doing something wrong.

I should of just fed the apples to the hogs instead of polishing them first.
I just came up with that saying and everyone is free to use it as they please. Even if it doesn't make much sense.
