Poor Touchscreen Responsivess

Hi there, I recently replaced the digitizer on my 3DS LL with a 3rd party one off Amazon.

However I feel like the responsiveness is not that great, I get the occasional disconnect with the stylus unless I put some pressure. My fingers on the other hand are not at all responsive unless I push down very hard.

Anything I can explore before attempting to replace with another digitizer?

Did you cailbrate the touch screen, in Settings/ Touch Screen/ Calibrate?

Thanks for the response, I did indeed calibrate a few times, still seeing the same need to put down some pressure on the screen with stylus and even more with fingers
