I can choose to base it from one Pokemon which is called the "core" or it can also be based from a theme (weather, entry hazards, and such).

For example, if my core is Doryuuzu, I would build a team that covers his problems and weaknesses. I could also build a Rain Offense team with Politoed, then a bunch of Swift Swimmers that take advantage of this.

Oh, what does "Entry Hazards" ACTUALLY mean?

And is there a sort of theme that suits the Hyper-offense orientated team? What if I choose base on Sazandora? Is it a valid choice?

Entry Hazards: Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes and Spikes.

Plausible. You can base it on any decent sweeper.

Sazandora isn't a good sweeper? What are some decent sweeper? I believe Dragon Dance TTar is a very good physical sweeper. And another problem is that where to get the items like Choice Specs in Black/White anyway. Googled and no results.

EDIT: Never mind. I know where to get the items already. Battle Subway.

I said it was plausible. But TTar is a good core. It's basically a base for a SS team. Doryuuzu, Hippowdon, and such are good partners.

Doryuuzu
Ttar
Garchomp
Rotom-W
Shandera

Are really good together

EDIT hyper offense eh? this was my 4th gen Hyper offense team that got me 11th in the Smogon shoddy LB

Infernape Lead
Agility Metagross
SD Lucraio
DD Ttar
DD Salamence
DD Gyrados

In HO go either all Phy or ALL Special

So basically, you said that if you want to base on a Pokemon as a core, which is Sazandora in this case, you will have to cover up his weakness by using other Pokemon. And what will be some good examples of those Pokemon?

@Rockstar: In HO go all Physical or Special...Hmm, that would be a reference to me. Thanks! I'm thinking of going well...haven't really thought of it yet. LOL.

I'd go with Latios. Pursuit is starting to be a rarely seen move and it seems like going with Latios will get a lot more of the important kills due to the sheer offensive power.

I'd go with a Life Orb on Doryuuzu. Dory has decent coverage already, and I'm sure you can just outspeed a majority of threats. The extra fire power will come in handy.

I think Breloom should be Jolly to prevent any problems with Gengar and Shanderaa. It could use the outspeeding.

Overall, I quite like the team I guess. More hyper-offense, but still I like the core built around lead TTar, Dory, and Garchomp. It could still use some modification here and there though.

What about the new team I did? Well I know I'm being noob by suggesting teams that isn't that good but I want to learn more things through you guys.

Sazandora @ Choice Specs
Nature: Modest
Ability: Levitate

Move 1: Draco Meteor
Move 2: Dragon Pulse
Move 3: Flamethrower
Move 4: Surf

Blissey @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Natural Cure

Move 1: Wish
Move 2: Protect
Move 3: Seismic Toss
Move 4: Thunder wave/Toxic(Thunder wave is to support Sazandora in order for him to outspeed major threats)

Tyranitar @ Life Orb
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Sand Stream

Move 1: Dragon Dance
Move 2: Stone Edge
Move 3: Earthquake
Move 4: Crunch

Gengar @ Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate

Move 1: Substitute/Protect
Move 2: Hypnosis
Move 3: Shadow Ball
Move 4: Focus Blast

Burungeru @ Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Water Absorb

Move 1: Boiling Water / Surf
Move 2: Recover
Move 3: Will-O-Wisp
Move 4: Ice Beam

Not sure what for the sixth Pokemon. I'm thinking of maybe a Balanced team. Well, just trying out whatever possible.

Blissey and Burungeru will support Sazandora. Blissey can use Thunder Wave to paralysis and can scout with Protect. Burungeru is backup Blissey I suppose if anybody have Focus Blast/Focus Punch and it can stall with Recover and hurt with Will-O-Wisp. Gengar is Special Sweeper(if I'm not wrong) and DD Tyranitar is quite strong I suppose. I always like a DD Tyranitar. I have some friends with EV-trained Pokemon and it fucks the whole team with 2 DD.

I'm not quite sure about all this, but I just want to learn more like I said.

SUGGESTIONS PLEASE.

Blissey should be replaced with Chansey and Pre-Evolution Stone. Higher defense comes in handy, and Chansey is already a lot more popular than Blissey. I actually doubt the inclusion of Blissey in the first place. It's use is limited due to a surge of powerful mix and physical sweepers and also new abilities. Like Shandera. Perhaps Nattorei or Forretress would be better in order to better create a defensive core along with Burungeru.

The sixth member could be a hazard setter or spinner. (Or both, but that's only Forretress) I would also suggest a wallbreaker, especially with more prominent walls like Burungeru running around.

DD TTar seems to be okay, the only problem is that DD gives sweepers a chance to come in (and some threatening ones too, if a Breloom is able to come at you, your'e pretty much dead) I would suggest Scarfing or Banding it instead since it's not really important for it to set up since your main sweeper is Sazandora.

The second build looks good, do you think it'd be wise if i switched superpower with earthquake?
can someone help me here?

No, you will need the coverage against Heatran, Blissey, TTar, Terakion, Sazandora.. etc.. So stick with Superpower.

So my team is good here except that Blissey should be replaced with Chansey? And if Breloom ever comes in I can switch in to other sweepers like Gengar to defend right? Or is my team bad or something?

It's not bad, it's decent I guess. But just change a couple of stuff and it'll work.

What are some things I need to change for my team to be...well, decent or preferably above decent

Blissey to Chansey and...?

Well, what exactly does a Spinner do anyway? And Hazard Setter is also en Entry Hazard?

Yeah, Heatran especially is quite a threat in today's game. Heck, you can like see them almost every team you face with(I see them in almost every team).

Oh and someone reply me last question

________________________________________

I'm bored and decided to try out a new team. Critics please.

Sazandora @ Choice Specs
Nature: Modest
Ability: Levitate

Move 1: Draco Meteor
Move 2: Dragon Pulse
Move 3: Flamethrower
Move 4: Surf

Tyranitar @ Choice Band(Yes, after much thinking, DD Tyranitar will allow those major sweepers to fuck your team so change in plans)
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Sand Stream

Move 1: Stone Edge
Move 2: Crunch
Move 3: Pursuit
Move 4: Earthquake

Burungeru @ Leftovers(Since Burungeru have Will-O-Wisp and is good in Special Def and have High HP, I decided to let Chansey go and see how it goes)
Nature: Calm
Ability: Water Absorb

Move 1: Boiling Water / Surf
Move 2: Recover
Move 3: Will-O-Wisp
Move 4: Ice Beam

Breloom @ Life Orb
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Poison Heal

Move 1: Spore
Move 2: Stone Edge
Move 3: Seed Bomb
Move 4: Superpower / Sky Uppercut / Mach Punch

Gengar @ Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate

Move 1: Substitute/Protect
Move 2: Hypnosis
Move 3: Shadow Ball
Move 4: Focus Blast

Ononokusu @ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Mold Beaker

Move 1: Dragon Claw
Move 2: Earthquake
Move 3: Outrage
Move 4: Rock Slide

Well, what I'm thinking is that letting Burungeru to be the wall and since it has Will-O-Wisp, it can inflict burn status on teams. Breloom will be the wall breaker and Tyranitar will be there to help break walls if Breloom falls. The rest are all sweepers.

Well, my last team and this. Is there any improvement or it gets worse? I just did this out of my free time you see XD Ononokusu's attack seems ridiculously high though ._.

Oh and I'm wondering if Roopushin or/and Pendoraa is viable for competitive.

EvangelionEX said:

A spinner is someone that uses rapid spin to remove entry hazards. A Hazard setter is someone with moves like Stealth rock, spikes, toxic spikes and such. Like Forretress and Deoxys-S

I just got into competitive pokemon battling, hope I can form a great team and beat my opponents. I just beat the pokemon league and am in black city, im currently trying to find the sages that are scattered and havent found any
