Confirmed.

I see the banner and catridge on the 3DS' menu. However when trying to boot it goes to a black screen and says "The Game Card was removed". Then reboots into normal 3DS mode.

Have you tried not removing the game card?

And just finished testing Pokemon X as well and it does the same thing. GW3DS team has been email to be informed of said issues. Now we wait. (Or if you can't wait then buy.)

I'm all for Gateway,and frankly this is the first game I'm gonna buy...and I'm sure they will release a patch for Pokemon at some point,but I doubt we'll see an online-mode and/or support for higher versions anytime soon,I hope I'm wrong.

So not only can I not pirate the game but now I have to buy it and update my 3ds losing gateway functionality(for now) thats poopy Damn nand save!!!

You have 4 options

1) Buy another 3DS: 1 3DS = newer games and 1 3DS = gateway
2) Wait for Pokemon X/Y, as well as Animal Crossing, to be tackled by the Gateway team
3) Wait for Gateway to release the 2.0 firmware, then see if the issue has already been fixed
4) Stop being a bitch and buy a game for once in your life!!!

Anyway, at least we have the rom itself because now we don't have to go around giving out false information about it.

That's odd, mine doesn't even show up in the 3DS menu. The ROM is 2.15GB correct?

You either have a fake rom, the file was written incorrectly, or you didn't enter gateway mode. I've yet to get the rom to test it.

I'm assuming it's a fake ROM because I was definitely in Gateway Mode and I rewrote it twice. I guess I'll download it from another source.
